A Mighty Heart, movie review
This was a brilliantly directed movie that gave a true sense of the events as they actually occurred, due to the lack of editing. The directors really seemed to focus on the story itself, which I think was completely appreciated because it gave the sense of realness that was needed, as it is not only based on a true story, but is also still very relevant.
Angelina Jolie’s performance was remarkable, specifically her potentially award winning screams! I felt like I was actually experiencing the events unfold with Mariane Pearl, and was completely inspired by her courage, strength, and ‘heart’.
My sister, the movie expert, would give it a rating of 3.5/5, and leave you with this little tidbit – if you ever want to feel like you’re in Karachi, this is the movie for you, however, if you haven’t, after watching this movie, you may not even want to visit!
