Starfall

Great for ages 4 and up (maybe even younger, depending on the child, I mean, my 2 year old also enjoys it with his brother)...

This site had the best phonics games and activities I have ever seen, it is a great resource for teachers, homeshooling moms, and even just regular moms (ummm, me).

My friend, Sabzari, who is a teacher introduced it to us, and since then my eldest has been referring to it as “his” website… (I think because he hears me saying “my” website a lot)

Use and enjoy!!, Starfall

Vomitrocious Taggoo

See that little yellow-ish looking thing? That, my friends, is “Vomitrocious Taggoo”!

Taggies are really cute and functional… ingenious really, a mom made it with little tags on the sides, because we all know how much babies prefer to play with tags… and computer cords, cellphones, boxes, cds… but I digress… this taggie ended up being a great little gem.

Personally, I do think it is a little pricey… I paid almost $28 Canadian for that baby! But, you know what they say…

Taggie: $28
Gas to get to store: $15
Toys for 2 other kids (just to be fair): $25

Putting baby to sleep in 1 minute flat without need for rocking, cradling, or singing… priceless!

Now, the name? Well, my eldest son also has a security toy, it is a stuffed bear, and since he was a baby he’s been calling the thing “daddoo”... so, naturally, as unimaginative parents, we decided to name the Taggie, Taggoo… naturally! And, ummm, the vomitrocious? Well… you can guess… the kid throws up a lot, yes, all over the taggoo, and it very often smells like vomit!

I totally recommend this for babies, especially ones that like to suck their thumbs! Taggies, and if you are convinced that you should buy, please use my “personal rewards coupon code”, W4R2J7G7S8. smile

A note to Canadians, their Canadian estore is not open yet, so in the meantime, you can purchase it at Scholar’s Choice.
