Yummy, and also easy, and almost authentic Indian style curry goat!
Day 4, Week 19

This was soooo yummy! And I don’t get to eat it much because my husband is not fond of Indian food (he’s indian btw?!?) but we both totally loved this. Although it did help that the goat was really fresh!
Ingredients:
Gosht masala (the picture is wrong)
chopped onions
diced tomatoes
goat
Guidelines:
In a saucepan on medium heat add a little olive oil (or ghee, which I don’t use), then add in the onions and tomatoes
Add in the curry powder and a cup of water and mix well
Add in the goat pieces and mix everything to make sure that all the pieces are coated with the curry in the pot
Cook on medium heat, covered, for about 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender (stirring at intervals, but ensuring that there is enough moisture, add water as needed)

Is there something special you need to do when cooking goat? My husband bought some goat with some friends and had it slaughtered. It was fresh when I froze it. I still have some left but I just didn’t like it. He was the only one eating it. I made him promise not to buy anymore goat when they went to have some animals slaughtered.

Surviving.. not really, maybe just wash it with vinegar really well. i have been eating goat all my life, so i may just be accustomed to the taste, but it does have a distinctive taste (just like lamb) that may be you just don’t prefer..
you can use the gosht seasoning for any kind of meat!

actually, you don’t need it, the seasonings come with everything you need, including enough pepper.

looks delicious, we eat mostly mutton in S.Africa or chicken. if we do have goat meat its if we slaughter on Eid ul Adha. not one of my favourites … still prefer chicken and STEAK !!

It is seasoned with a mixture of spices often including turmeric, cumin, coriander, ginger, as well as garlic and chiles. Some of the curry spices are known for their antiseptic and preservative properties.

I need information about learn jamon iberico but what is the difference with jamon serrano?

Thoughts from Sashi
Jamon iberico is made from swine which is at least 75% from a breed called black iberian pig, there are several sub types of this breed.Jamon serrano is made from 100% white pigs or from animals which do not reach the purity standard therefore their meat is not as good. BuyJamon.com buy jamon iberico online and have it delivered to your door
