Homestyle chow mien & bell pepper shrimp
Day 1, Week 5

When we were growing up, my mom would cook chow mien like this for us… I can’t really tell you what the influence was… Chinese I imagine, but somehow she just made it her own special thing. She does not really cook it anymore, and it has been a long while since I have eaten it, but it still is YUM to me! Makes me feel like a teenager again! ![]()
