Speedlinking & voting
So, I sort of didn’t want to vote (I know!) because sometimes I am very jaded and disenchanted with the world and I just want to give up caring, but then I get back to myself and realize that none of us can really give up. Whether it’s the Canadian elections, or the US elections, or where ever else you are, if you’ve got the right to vote, go vote!
And if you’re American, or not, you gotta love the political commentary on saturday night live!
This week my eldest was disturbed by something that happened at school with his classmates, and I can honestly say the pain we feel because of our children’s pain is totally unmatched.
Apparently it’s Islamic History Month in Canada, who knew that?? Well, not me, until this morning, but apparently it is! So Happy Islamic History Month!

On a lighter note, I always think that paint chips are so purdy and there must be something that we could use them for, and now you can! HOW TO – Paint Chip Notebook!
And finally, I need to share with those of you who don’t know, Amber and her hubby (well, mostly her hubby) had a really awesomely gigantic pumpkin – literally! You must also read her fascinating tales about the life and apparently impending death of the great pumpkin!
