It’s rare, and I mean RARE, that I ever fall in love with a Disney animated movie. I mean, I do watch them, but mainly because I am forced, like most of you, I imagine.
Tinker Bell
though, was such a lovely movie, I really enjoyed it! Even when my kids lost interest in the “girlie-ness” of it all, and when off to pretend that they were transformers, I stayed and watched it ‘till the end, and then watched it a second time with my sister! Yeah, I loved it that much! Oh, my girlie side!
Good news… I have one as a giveaway! Yaay! Leave a comment, mention tinkerbell, and you’ll be in the running.
And even if you don’t win, here are some fun tinkerbell inspired crafts to have fun with: Paper Flowers, Bird Feeder, and some recipes. Enjoy!
(bonus points if you can figure out how many excessive exclamation marks I used in this post!)

I also forced my kids to watch Sleeping Beauty
with me, for review purposes, and I kind of also had to force myself to stay and watch it! I am so not into the “classics”, but if you are, it’s a great classic! And I also have a giveaway, so if you want one, leave a comment with sleeping beauty and you’ll be in the draw.

life.

Ate some totally yummy food by my aunt, and then headed out.

We got into the city safely.

Time Square, to be exact.

Where some of us were rescued by Batman!

Then had MacDonald’s, despite my deep loathing of the stuff – but they insisted, and there was a bouncer at the door, flashing disco lights, a million screens and everything, who could say no? The fries were still gross.

We watched the marathon; it was nothing short of amazing.

Walked like 40something (FORTY-SOMETHING!!) blocks to the bridge because we were unable the cross the street!

But then made up for it by having THE.MOST.FANTASTIC calamari ever!

Then was fed even more by my cousin.

Strolled through Central Park.

Attended the conference.

Felt a bit American, and then came back home.

just for fun.
You know like, WWJD, except, well, with much less wisdom, or umm, greatness.
According to everyone, I will argue until I win – even if I am wrong. I don’t agree with everyone!
According to the girl who sits in front of me, I do sarcasm and it’s very funny. I don’t know if I try to be funny necessarily – it’s hard to control really, like a disobedient child, who always says the wrong thing and makes their parents groan!
According to my kids I would forget to buy stuff for school, or bread, or milk, or eggs, or to wash their uniforms, but at some point, like a holiday, I would make a craft with them, watch a movie and eat popcorn, and then when I notice all the mess say “what the!”... or something like that.
According to my mom I always “do” without thinking, or at least so she tells me all the time. Lovingly, of course.
According to my sister I would plan to do a million things, ask her to wake me in case I fall asleep, even if I refuse, be persistent, then sure enough I would fall asleep, until morning, ignoring her “persistence”, and say again the following night that I have a million things to do. It’s a vicious cycle, sadly.
What do you tend to do most days?

Remember how I said that people who experience my cooking, also like to rate my dishes?

Well, I was not kidding! And now I’ve realized that they’ve decided to also give me feedback in the form of criticism loving suggestions. Sigh.

Don’t wear beige pants on rainy days.
Teach kids about Canadian politics, so that they don’t ask questions like “mommy, are you voting for McCain or Obama?”
Starting the day at 3am is not a good idea.
Stop eating pie. And ice-cream. Mainly because you like neither pie nor ice-cream. Also because your clothes might stop fitting you soon!
Think about interesting things to blog about, that people will actually want to read!
