Love Thursday & the bedrest.
The pregnancy of my second child brought with it one major complication, a problem that caused me to be on hospital bedrest for the last 2 months. Yes, it was extremely difficult! Difficult to be away from a comfy home and yummy food, but it was almost unbearable to be away from my son.
My 4 year old was only one and a half at the time, and was really confused by the situation. Once during that time, he got pneumonia; he was brought into emergency at the same hospital that I was at so at least I could see him. But the most heartbreaking part was to see my son reaching out to me with his little arms and not being able to hold him.
Everything ended well, and we were all fine, but it was a hard 2 months for the entire family. My mom was amazing, taking care of my son, while worrying about me, my husband visited me everyday, bringing me things to feel more comfortable and my sisters would run the errands. Families are truly a blessing.
