Seriously, I kinda do.
Almost 4 year old: I want to be an engineer, like daddy, except with machines. I want to build machines.
7 year old: I want to be an author.
5 year old: And I want to be an illustrator.
7 year old: Yeah, we talked about this, I can write the stories and he can illustrate them.
What do you guys want to be?
No-one wants to be a fireman? Or an astronaut??
Are these the typical dream careers of today’s youth? Or just your mature kiddies, masha’Allah. 
I totally pretend I am a ninja - which is pretty amusing for a 30 something woman to pretend I took some kick boxing classes a couple of months ago - and that did not help dampen my enthusiasm at all!
But when I grow up - probably I want to be a rock star - hey a girl who doesn’t sing in front of men except my husband can dream, right?
Next entry: I may not know how to spell mussels, but at least I can cook them!
