kids.
Baby is still sick, not as bad, but he is not well. Thanks everyone for your prayers, thoughts and well wishes.
The almost 3 year old is also sick, but clearly not sick enough to have an entire article dedicated just to him!
We are still going ahead with the potty training thing… as best as we can anyways…
Almost 3 year old: I am wet
Daddy: what?? again??
Almost 2 year old: Yup! (completely unconcerned)
Daddy: why?? why?? (completely mad because he had just changed him and took him to the bathroom)
Almost 2 year old: well, I was riding my bicycle (while he held on to a tube-like toy as if it were the handle bar) and it was too heavy!
At least daddy is more patient with him than I am!
bummer! my daughter is sick too – strep throat from school. but this time i got the diagnosis wrong. she was vomiting so i thought she had a stomach virus. husband insisted i call the doctor and when i described the symptoms the nurse felt like it was a sore throat and told me to come in to check for strep. sure enough it was. So for once, i was wrong. live and learn.
Thoughts from shaz
oh mona, I hope that she gets well soon inshaallah. life and learn for sure. i think that its always better to have things checked out, just to make sure.

About toilet training, have you tried taking him when YOU/daddy goes? It’s the most trying time when you are teaching your toddler to go. My 2nd just turned 1, well,I still have time(I don’t even want to think about toilet training!). I hope he feels better inshallah,it’s really hard when kids are sick.
Thoughts from Irene
I hope your little one feels better soon… I know too well just how hard and scary and exhausting it is when kids are sick.
