Remember my awesome friend? Well she left me. Yes, I miss her awesomeness! And yes, it’s very sad. But, that is not the point of this story…

You see, my awesome friend and I would have sushi quite regularly, well, bento box really, I would even go so far as to call her “queen of the bento box”!! Since she’s been gone however, I mostly just skip lunch… I am NOT a loner people, and lunching by myself is very depressing.

For the past 3 weeks though, I’ve been going for sushi every Thursday with another very awesome girl that I recently met, and I have to say, it’s pretty much the high point of my work week! (Sad, I know… don’t judge me… my life is sorta sad at the moment ok)

Thoughts from Melanie

There is nothing sad about sushi!  I look forward to it every time I go smile

Thoughts from Mezba

Where is this sushi place? I have been looking for a good clean sushi place downtown.

Thoughts from shaz

Melanie, we could could totally hang out!

Mezba, it’s on baldwin, there are like 4 sushi places on that one little block, we tried all, but this place called Fujiyama is really nice, it’s the last one on the street. where do you work?

Thoughts from Cereal Dieter

I’ve never tried sushi before… I’m kinda freaked out by it… I hear so many people say it’s wonderful… maybe I need to quit being soooo scary!

Thoughts from shaz

cereal dieter - well, start off with the safe ones, like avocado and cucumbers etc, there’s ones with cooked shrimp as well… as my friend likes to say - if you’re not dead, then the sushi was good! har har

btw, “shi teous” - awesome word dude!!

Thoughts from umarah

but why did the awesome girl leave you:(

Thoughts from shaz

umarah - it’s very sad, isn’t it?! :( well, she actually left the job, not “me” per se, but still, it hurts!

wink

Thoughts from Specs

Hey, there’s nothing sad about that! Sounds like quite a fun outing. smile

Thoughts from shaz

Specs - well, i would have to agree, it is actually quite fun!
