Peek in Monday & the kiss that never was

My husband took the kids to see The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything yesterday, and while he was trying to get them dressed, I was trying to keep the baby busy… and usually I like to harass him to kiss me, which he rarely ever does! Usually, I will just grab him and force him to endure a few minutes of my “affection”!

Now, the thing with “the baby” is that he’s almost 2 years old and he STILL does not talk! I mean, he can talk, but he’ll whisper like one word at a time, or say “uhhh uhhh”, he seems to be super shy! Anyways, I have the flu, yes, AGAIN, so I sound weird-ish, although I am told that I sound weird even when I am not congested, so…

And, yes, I did tell my 2 year old that he sucks.

I’m so happy to see a video of another little boy just about two who doesn’t talk, much. I want my 19 month old to talk, but alas, he is more interested in trying to climb the window blinds and jump from the top of our stairs.

Ahh how cute…I used to tell my 3 and 5 yr old to come and see if mommy has anything in her eye..as soon as they came close I would grab them and slobber them with kisses…that worked a few times..now they just say “mommy we know you want to kiss us” and walk away lol!!

Salams. That reminds me of when my oldest son was that age- he wouldn’t kiss me either and add to that the fact that he didn’t even know how to kiss. When he would try he would just put his lips on my cheeck. But fast forward a few years later, now if i tell him to kiss me he does! Also, at 2, they are just starting to talk, so i wouldn’t worry.
