So, first thing this morning, he wanted to pee, so he rushed into the bathroom while I was in there and said “mommy, you know, I didn’t grow! I didn’t even get any bigger today!” And I laughed, because, well, that’s how I roll! So he said “but mommy, I’ll be bigger by the time I am 7 right?” And then I laughed again! Oh, come on, you would laugh too! And then I said, VERY reassuringly, “yes babe, you will be bigger by the time you’re 7!”
A very happy birthday to him. May he have many wonderful years to come (and grow bigger too!)
Tell him HAPPY BIRTHDAY from ME!! Isn’t it amazing how we all are in such a hurry to grow up and when we get here we wish we could go back?? So let him know to enjoy every minute of every size! 
Ooh, MashaAllah he is getting on in years. 
You know, its so sad; now, there’s nothing we’d not give to be able to say ‘Oh look, I didn’t grow.. I didn’t even get any bigger this year’! :D
