My unnatural love of the ocean and perhaps the only reason that I think where I live sucks!

I would not be exaggerating if I say that there is nothing that I love more than the ocean… well, almost not exaggerating, but I do love the ocean, so much so, that if given a choice, I would, without hesitation, choose a yacht over a house any day!

The thing is though, that I feel like umbrellas and such pollute beaches, seriously, there is probably nothing that I hate more than a crowded beach, it literally annoys me! I mean, would this not annoy you too?

Ok, well, maybe “annoy” is kind of strong an emotion, but I just would rather not go to a beach than be faced with that eyesore! Also, other things that add to my annoyance are cruise liners, which, I realize that I would be in the minority here, but I don’t know that people need to have that many luxuries while on the ocean!

But, apparently my kids enjoy it…

Me though, a yurt and a secluded beach is pretty much my idea of paradise!

OMG, that place is So crowded. In fact, i should say omgthatplaceissocrowded to get the full effect.

I’m ever so scared of the ocean ever since my daddy made me watch national Geographic at the tender age of ten…my poor little mind thought there were monsters and sharks everywhere.

I’m going green thinking of your wish of being on a yacht. Its parts sea sickness, and part envy, lol.

LOL! Where is it, I hope not too far so that I can take the kids. But the crowd, hmmmm, reminds me of those old movies when they show you the beach, it’s this crowded. Ohhh, I miss the beach too :(. Hope you had a great weekend.

Specs - that was just in one direction! the whole place was insanely packed. Sea sickness? Hmm… never actually experienced that.

sf - it’s Sauble beach, very nice beach, but when you go like in September when there is NO ONE! it’s about 2 1/2 hours from T.O., but took us 5 hours to get there!!!! it was NOT my idea, but apparently the water was lovely.

I can see now why you are talking about your unnatural love for the ocean, it obvious in these pictures. Unlike you I love cruises, they give me the opportunity to enjoy the ocean breeze and stay relaxed, these kinds of trips fit my preferences.
