Kids say…

My 3 and a half year old has an amazing vocabulary and grasp of the language. There are days when the best conversation I have is with my preschooler!

One day I was getting my newborn dressed, and my preschooler said to me “That is the funniest outfit I ever saw!”… Really? And how many “outfits” have you seen in all of your 3 and a half years!

He likes to have discussions with me, and most of the time they start of like “so, mummy…” Then he goes on with some of his theories about why we have ants in the house, or why the toddler is angry with him, or why the newborn is crying. He can justify just about anything he does… like he can’t clean up his toys because he is too tired… or he needs to play a little first and then eat his dinner!

And my 3 and a half year old says to me, as I was getting dressed… ”What are you wearing? Take that off… Grandma will laugh at you!”
