If I hear the word “mommy” one more time, my head may actually explode

Just sayin’...

He’s actually not the source, since he doesn’t say “mommy” yet, but I’ve been sick for most of the week and I think it’s getting worse! Currently one side of my face and head is completely aching due to a sinus infection, and it’s accompanied by the flu, so as you can well imagine, it’s been, ummm, fun?

I have 3 boys ages 16, 5 and 3...I know what you mean about hearing mommmy non-stop when you are sick..ahhh the joys of motherhood. =]

I hope you feel better soon, what helps me when I have the flu is some homemade barley soup and lots of green tea.

Mash’Allah your son is so adorable, I just want to pinch those cheeks lol.

Sometimes no, i should say alot of times I have all four yelling “mommy”, and when i’m not feeling well, all that screaming can just really get to my head. I tryyyyyy to retreat to a calm setting with a cup of tea and do a little dhikr, it helps. I hope you feel better soon,inshallah. Your little one is looking so cute, mashallah. My little one is sleeping, and that is why i am able to comment.
