So, Blogher is in about 16 days and I think I’ve mentioned that I am speaking, right? Well, that, and the badge that I am displaying on my sidebar… but my point is that I am speaking at Blogher!!

I don’t just WP, I use Blogger.

When I had my first blog, I had switched from blogger to WP but I did not like that I couldn’t tweak the template etc as one can do in Blogger. It is only if you had a paid-account that you can change things, add widgets etc. So, I switched back to blogger.

Another thing I did not like then (don’t know if it has changed now) but uploading images was not as easy, seemed technical with having to resize and all that.

I have been thinking of buying a pro account but when I read about the code problems some people are having, I’d just rather not as the last thing I want to do is to spend time figuring out that sort of stuff which I know is time-consuming.

Would have loved to hear your presentation.

Ok I have a question - it’s probably an easy answer and one I should really know but here goes -
how do I change my links (eg. on my blogroll) so that when someone clicks on them, it automatically opens up the link in another window. I can do that within a blog post (they’ve made that really easy) but don’t know where to go to change the links on my sidebar since all that stuff is already formatted when i download the template.

Tasmiya - ok… in the control panel, when you are adding/editing a link there is an option called “target”, select the radio button that says “_blank”, that will make the link open in a new window.

if you have no upgraded your wordpress to the newest version, i suggest that you do that! hope that helps.
