read more about:
entertainment and such.
Last night I had a dinner party, well, if you consider asking your guests to help you move furniture around, babysit your kids while you are otherwise engaged trying to figure out where to put said furniture that was being moved around, and then discussing programming and other such fascinating topics while in front of a laptop, a dinner party, then I had a dinner party!
Although, I prefer to call it “a gathering of people who like to discuss my odd, and if I do say so myself, spectacular, cooking habits, and try to not only discern what is in it, but also RATE it, and feel the need to let me know if they would or would not like to have the dish in question ever made or served to them again”, or you know, something like that!
How did you spend the weekend?
Thoughts from Dahlia
My brother and I spent the whole day going “what do you want to do” “I don’t know, what do you want to do” until it got so late that all we could do was rent a movie and watch half of it before falling asleep!
Thoughts from shaz
You made me laugh! I hope that the half of the movie that you did see was at least enjoyable. although, sometimes those lazy days are exactly what we need!
“How did you spend the weekend?”
Laughing, crying, crying some more, partying, entertaining… oh, and trying (in vain) to record a podcast with a great cook with a penchant for programming, and a hijabi fashionista, masha’Allah. haha
I wish I lived closer or at least had more friends like yours! I have great friends, but they do not share my passion for computers. How fun would it be to sit around and dink with computers all evening with people you love to be with?
Instead of watched a lot of Olympics and wrote blog posts.

iMuslim - crying, aww, why?? you didn’t mention that to me, oh, right, that’s because we never actually got a chance to talk, or, you know, record a podcast! hope you’re ok.
chilihead - dude i wish you lived closer too!!! having friends who like computers is nice, i must agree! i am so not into olympics.
