My kid Lies!

So, as I was sitting at my computer ~~reading blogs~~ working, my 2 year old came up to me and asked “can I have apple mommy, pleeeeeeeeeese?”

I said “yes, baby, 1 second”, and tried to finish what I was doing on the computer really fast so I could get his apple. Now, he possibly thought I was ignoring him, but I really was just about the get the apple, when he asked again, “mommy, can i have apple pleeeeeeeeeese?”

I quickly got up, went to the kitchen, washed the apple, peeled the apple, cut up the apple, put the plate on the table, and told him to come eat it, “here you go baby, eat it up!”

2 yr old: I don’t want apple
me: what?
2 yr old: I don’t like apple
me: WHAT? But you just begged for apple!
2 yr old: no, I said, mommy can I have some cold water in a cup!

haha suroor… typical husband!

Maliha, you are correct, it is attention. poor kid… my mom says that he’ll grow up to hate computers! There really is a middle child syndrome… I have to write more on that, he is just so different from the other 2, and our interaction with him is also different. We really should know better, but alas, we are not perfect, and I think we are giving him the ‘syndrome’!

The funny part is after I showed the mousepad to a few of my friends, everyone wanted one!

I went on to eBay and they had none! And the company that makes them is in Japan, so their website is in Japanese. So as far as I know, this is a rare collectable!!!

I’m loving your blog btw, your sons are so beautiful!
