Speedlinking & being seriously tired

I am so tried of this hijab thing, I would really just rather never discuss it – wear it, don’t wear it, like it, don’t like it – I can’t say that it bothers me either way, I am just tired of ignorance.

I love this site which is good cuz I need many pleasing distractions in my life!

This is sorta weird even to me, but I am pretty fond of watching those skateboarding kids at the park – you know when they have the ramp-thingy and all of that, I find it very fascinating, I am also fond of decorated skateboards... I also like graffiti a lot, but I have no links to those, I always want to take some photos of some in Toronto, but I have this fear that the people on the train will wonder if I am crazy!

I thought that this video was amusing.

I totally feel you!

The first time I ever saw Rachel Ray, I was less that impressed with her “enthusiasm”, I felt like it was hard to keep up with her perkiness, but recently, I noticed that I am kind of hooked on her show as well… and so are my kids..who like to pretend they are chefs!!

I am completely not a gaming type of person, well, perhaps I was way back when I was like 13 or something, but it’s been years since I’ve played a video game, although I have to say that Wii looks very tempting and at some point I am certain we’ll have to get one, but this is cute!

Speedlinking & to settle or not to settle

One of my single friends emailed me this article on marriage, and it took me about a week to finish reading it, but at the end I thought that there was a lot of merit in the argument that marriage does not have to be with “the one”, but maybe just “the good enough one”. After being married for so long, I am now one of those people that believe marriage has very little to do with love, and everything to do with compromise and patience!

To lighten things up… this recipe involving smoked salmon looks AMAZINGLY good… but then again, when does smoked salmon not look good!!

I am trying to find some wallpaper for the wall behind my bed, but the idea of using fabric instead is very fascinating, especially since I am a HUGE fabric fan, even though, no, I do not sew! But, I am in love with the designs on fabrics, I find them extremely creative and inspirational.
