I think I have a throat infection. AGAIN. Maybe.
Umm, ok and ummmmmm, ooooookkkkkk!
Ah, yummy food and more yummy food, although I do not eat bacon, I do totally love clam chowder, in fact, can someone bring some over to me right now?
Good tips for overcoming fear in the economic crisis, or just good tips on living life really. Mostly, I think, the key thing is to stay positive – sometimes it’s a miracle to accomplish, but try at least.
Hey, it’s almost the end of the year (yeah, in case you didn’t notice!) and here are some cool looking printable calendars. Are you glad 2008 is over? I must say it’s the year that dropkicked my ass into a great big abyss of “how did I get here and what do I do now”. But, it was also the year that taught me what it means to be strong, to be a mother, to sacrifice, and in many ways, what it really means to love. I am certainly not the type of person to utter the words “things cannot get any worse” because it can always get worse, but I will say that I am happy for the lessons learnt, though hard, and I hope 2009 will be slightly easier, although I am sort of bracing myself in case it’s even more difficult.
Alright, happy Friday people!

For those of you who were deeply, and I do mean deeply concerned about the condition of my hair – I washed it last night, so you may rest easy now, especially those of you who might have been wondering if I was aware that things could start living in there. Thanks!

I am finding my inner financially-responsible-self, I know it must be in there some where.
If you’re freelancing, or thinking of starting your own business, here are some tips from the experts.
Oh.The.Purdy.Colours!
Great giveaway!
Also, I heard that LOST was the best series of 2008. Yay! But, oh, Lost, how I’ve missed thee!

Could someone make this and deliver it to me? Please?
I am somewhat fascinated with this apple pie!
I generally don’t wrap presents, but not because I don’t like to, it’s because 1) I have very little time, and 2) I really detest generic wrapping paper. I think this wrapping idea is totally cute.
And while on the topic of presents, if you’re giving gifts this season, you may want to consider some “alternative” gifts. Check out Redefine Christmas, Change The Present (I really like this idea!), and Just Give – and even if you’re not giving presents, you can still make a donation.
Finally, just because… this post was extremely touching.
And a reminder, this software giveaway is still open – it’s great if you have a lot of photos, videos, music, and a PC!

The hope bracelet has a new home with my beautiful friend, just because she is very sweet, and I think it looks prettier on her hands!
I don’t know why, but I really love cute ribbons, and these are like “super cute ribbons”!
“Seeing the Everyday” looks like a fabulous magazine, and you may also want to check out all the other magazines you should be reading.
Bizarre but very intriguing.
I love bamboo socks, if you haven’t tried them, you really should!
And in case you were keeping track, now I am reading The Soloist.

I feel compelled to remind you about the things I hate about winter and also to let you know that now I do have to shovel the driveway and it surely will be at the top of the list from now. This morning however, my 6 year old reassured me that he is SIX now and as such he is very capable of handling things like snow shoveling and that I should not worry! But, as we geared up to go take care of the white stuff, we realized that we had an amazing secret helper who came, early in the morning, cleaned off both cars and shoveled the driveway!

Pictures of snow to come! And now, on to the speedlinking part!
Holy Yum!
So, I love math. Did I ever mention that? Yeah, well, I do. Passionately. However, because I am easily distracted… uh, wait, I see something shiny! Ahem, as I was saying, university level math did me in, but nonetheless, the love is still there! Anyway, I saw Specs’ math page and I LOVED it, like, I could print it out and frame it or something. The math, the lack of space on the paper, the neatness… like art! No? Ok. Moving right along then.
Writing emails. My hatred of a poorly composed email knows no bounds. nuff said.
I tend to struggle with my kids needing to be more tough too. I feel just like Crunchy does. Anyone have any good suggestions?
I am currently reading a complicated kindness – totally loving it! Certainly not a book for everyone, but if you enjoy cynicism, and dark humor, you’ll really like it!
Happy Friday!
