You know like, WWJD, except, well, with much less wisdom, or umm, greatness.

According to everyone, I will argue until I win – even if I am wrong. I don’t agree with everyone!

According to the girl who sits in front of me, I do sarcasm and it’s very funny. I don’t know if I try to be funny necessarily – it’s hard to control really, like a disobedient child, who always says the wrong thing and makes their parents groan!

According to my kids I would forget to buy stuff for school, or bread, or milk, or eggs, or to wash their uniforms, but at some point, like a holiday, I would make a craft with them, watch a movie and eat popcorn, and then when I notice all the mess say “what the!”... or something like that.

According to my mom I always “do” without thinking, or at least so she tells me all the time. Lovingly, of course.

According to my sister I would plan to do a million things, ask her to wake me in case I fall asleep, even if I refuse, be persistent, then sure enough I would fall asleep, until morning, ignoring her “persistence”, and say again the following night that I have a million things to do. It’s a vicious cycle, sadly.

What do you tend to do most days?

Looking for something to do on Saturday?

Last Saturday we had nothing planned, but as you know it is summer and summer days are not to be wasted inside…

My sister: Where do you want to go?

Me: Dunno, where do you want to go?

My sister: Umm, why don’t we go watch planes?

Me: Uh, whatever….

Kids: Yeah, planes! Yey!!

Me: Ok, planes it is then!

image

My Sister: I am so fascinated and amazed by planes!

Me: Yeah?

My sister: Why? Arn’t you?

Me: Umm, not so much, I think I am more fascinated by trains (totally not being sarcastic)

My sister: *Look of utter disbelief and slight disgust* Wow, I think I am more fascinated by a fax machine than a train!

Me: Alright, let’s get out of here. What do you want to do now?

Kids: Ice Cream!

So, if you’re looking to spend $25 for 5 people to have “fun”, then you need to go watch planes and then have dessert! Actually, the kids had a blast.

i really do hope there are better ways…

I watched Enchanted recently, it was unexpectedly cute and fun, I really enjoyed it! And, also, I am a sucker for happy endings!

And on another totally unrelated note, any one else miss Gilmore Girls?? Man, I miss that show! :(

Here is a little excerpt I stole off facebook…

emily: its like a canoe.

lorelai: whats like a canoe?

emily: life.

lorelai: k.

emily: youre just paddleing along in the canoe.

lorelai: mother have you ever been in a canoe?

emily: lorelai.

lorelai: well I just can’t picture you in a canoe.

emily: your father and I gave been paddleing in a canoe for years only now he’s dropped the paddle…

lorelai: ahhhh

emily: ...he just drops it. not only that but now the canoe is going in circles.

lorelai: awwww

emily: without your father there I’m paddleing on my side and the canoe is spinning in circles and the harder I paddle the faster it spins and its hard work and I’m getting tired.

lorelai: dizzy I would think.

emily: you, are in a kayak. you know how to do all of this.

lorelai: how does that put me in a kayak?

emily: kayaks have paddles with things on both ends so you can row by yourself…

emily: you, you provide for yourself. youre not dependent on anyone. youre independent.

lorelai: I am kayak, hear me roar.

Yes, I do love the dialogue!
