3 year old: Mommy, mommy, my hand fell in the toilet!!
Me: What? How did that happen?
3 year old: It just fall in there all by itself!! It just did it!
On Saturday night we had a little dinner at my parent’s house for my sister’s boyfriend, who is leaving to study in the UK. I wanted to participate in Cake’s Peek in Mondays, so I took a bunch of video of everyone, except, I forgot to turn on the mic on the camera! (can you say “loooooser”?!)
Anyways, here is one of my kids trying to dance! (yes, that is my laptop in the background, I do travel with it often, and yes, I was also trying to get some work done, and that’s my mom sitting in the background and laughing a lot!!)
(I have no idea who’s been teaching them to dance!!)
ps… if you can’t understand the lyrics, it’s probably for the best! ![]()

I’ve spend the past, ummm, I don’t know, 18 or so hours working, almost nonstop, I would LOVE that ball right now!
We were discussing Ramadan with our kids – my almost 5 year old is carrying on discussions about fasting, “I am going to fast” he says, “by not eating too much…” he continued, and we were agreeing, “ok, that sounds good, maybe you can have a small snack”... when all of a sudden, my 3 year old speaks up and says “I am going to *slow*!”
Today marks the start of Ramadan and Muslims all over the world will be fasting for the month. It’s a very spiritual time for us, it’s a time to reflect, to help humanity, to be close to God, and to spend time with family. I hope that I can accomplish all my goals this month, God willing, and to my Muslim sisters and brothers, Ramadan Mubarak to you, and may you have a blessed month.
