Once upon a time…
I adamantly insisted that no baby of mine would ever have fries…

Nor would ever taste soda…

And certainly not ice-cream…

I stand corrected!
The end.

So, while making dinner, I heard some fighting and screaming in the living room, then I heard, “YOU DON’T OWN ME!!!” in a very loud and somewhat angry tone.
What it sounded like was the mousehunter having a few issues with his precious – and by precious I mean the baby, whom my husband informed me does not care to be with me, and whom I am “on shaky ground” with!
Since the 2 older boys are now pretty much mama’s boys, I think that my husband was trying to make me jealous because the baby loves him oh.so.much, but let’s be honest here – even if the baby is screaming his head off, I will still hug, kiss, and bite him – AND enjoy it!
And at least I am not the one trying to hide from a 1 and a half year old who refuses to say anything but “uhhhhh” and “waaah waaah” all day! ![]()
As my husband and I were about to go to sleep last night at about 11:30, all 3 kids decided that they would wake up and surprise us with a lovely little melody…
The toddler has the most high-pitched voice, but since he’s not too loud and mostly reaches out to his daddy, I can usually block out his tune…
The newborn is not as enthusiastic as the other 2 children about the performance yet, its more of a little squeak from him, which kind of takes him out of the running…
Now the preschooler…he takes the prize! He’s loud, he can keep on going for a long time without breaks, his pitch goes high and low, and he likes to repeat the same notes over and over!!
If anyone wants to rent some kids for the weekend, please let me know…they give GREAT performances!!
At least they are all asleep right now (including daddy)…
