about me.
More than a year ago, only about a month after she started reading my blog, and me, hers, Achelois wrote the following analysis about me. I never responded, so I thought today I would grace her with an answer… Dude!
(I know how you love that term!) You are soooo NOT crap!!!
Shazia –
1) Do you like white? I think you’d prefer white fabric over colours.
I actually love colours, but… I think I love colours more on graphics, prints, websites, accessories… things like that. I will say that all my furniture is pretty much “white”, well off-white really, and all my clothes are very neutral colours.. brown, black, beige, blue, and yes, white. What I really like though, is simplicity.
2) You sometimes fuss over tidiness and you love delicate and intricate patterns and designs.
Hahahah, this one is funny! I am completely messy, it is literally a challenge for me to keep anything tidy, but I DETEST mess, I just get annoyed when things are not tidy! So, basically, I am in a perpetual state of annoyance! TOTALLY LOVE intricate patterns and designs!!!
3) I think you don’t like to wear heavy jewelry or dangling earrings.
Correct!
4) I think you are somewhere between 5 feet and 5’ 4” tall and are not yet thirty.
Also correct, although, since it’s been more than a year since you’ve written this, I am now thirty.
5) You seem to get hurt easily but you don’t like to show it. Do you try to suppress your anger? I also have the feeling that you cry easily and don’t mind crying in the presence of people you love.
Also correct.
6) I don’t think you grow your nails; they seem short and clean.
They are, although sometimes I forget to cut them.
7) I sense that you don’t like reading too much or let’s say you don’t care for it. Very long texts may bore you very soon. You may be very impatient sometimes.
Hahaha… yes!
8) I feel you are very honest and when you can’t be honest you prefer to be quiet. You don’t like confrontations (?). They make you unhappy and sometimes you would rather dig your head in the pillow and wish the bad times were all over.
Wow, yes, this is pretty true. I don’t like to deal with my emotions actually, if it’s a work-related problem, I will confront it head-on, but if it’s anything to do with my feelings, I will just pretend the problem does not exist.
9) You sincerely love those you love and you care a lot about them.
Very true!
10) I think you leave things till the last minute and delay doing it until you must; is it true? I also think you are multi-tasking by nature.
Yes and yes!

So… I am feeling much better, I am not really “deathly” ill, I just tend to behave very crazy when I am sick and I always feel like I am going to die, although this time I could not breathe, so can you blame me?? I have an inhaler now, so I can breathe again! Yay!
Now that I am actually leaving my house everyday and all, I have noticed something that really, really irritates me – the ridiculous number of plastic bags that are all over the city – I cannot express in words how much I hate the sight of plastic bags in trees, on the ground, flying in the air, in waterways… well, you get the idea!
Anyways, a while ago I started requesting no bags when I make a purchase, unless, of course, it could not be helped (I am not actually a superhero!), and I would like to make a request that all of you consider doing the same. For example, if I purchase books, I just take it home with me just like that, I really don’t need a plastic bag for that… just think about it before you accept a plastic bag… that’s all I ask!

me? bitter? no way!.

No? Probably because I was too busy sleeping! Anyways, I am sick, or, you know, “deathly ill”, if you want to be dramatic. Today I thought that I would literally pass out at work, so I decided that maybe I should see a doctor… turns out it was a good call! Now, I’m all medicated. And even more sleepy. Sigh.

I forgot to mention that my middle child is now officially 4 years old… well, 4 years and 1 week old… the fact that I forgot to blog about it has nothing to do with him being the middle one, I promise! I may possibly have just been sleeping through everything – last week is sort of a blur, I only remember being exceptionally exhausted! Maybe I’ll tell you why sometime, if I remember…
Happy Birthday kid!

Not me!
For some reason, everyone around me seems to LOVE this show, and although I’ve really tried to like it, I completely dislike it! I do not find it entertaining… I am not exactly sure why, and I am aware that I might be in the minority here, but I.Just.Don’t.Get.It!
None-the-less, I agreed to review it, but only because my sister is a big fan and she said that she would do the review for it… however, after watching an episode, she decided it’s not as entertaining as she remembered it! She did have a few laughs out of it though, it’s sort of really “stupid” funny, and for those of you who enjoy the muppets, you know, kermit, ms piggy, gonzo, those 2 old guys on the balcony, then you’ll probably enjoy it!
So… Fans… I am doing a giveaway for this DVD… although it’s been viewed, if you’re interested, leave a comment, I’ll do a random draw on Tuesday! Details about the DVD below…

Season Three of this longtime audience favorite added the distinguished Peabody Award to The Muppet Show’s impressive list of awards, which includes four Primetime Emmys. Highlights of Season Three include an unforgettable duet between Gilda Radner (Saturday Night Live) and a giant carrot, as well as guest appearances by Sylvester Stallone, Liberace, Raquel Welch, Alice Cooper and Cheryl Ladd.
Created by legendary puppeteer Jim Henson and featuring the inimitable voice talents of Frank Oz, The Muppet Show introduces audiences to the ultimate puppet femme fatale, Miss Piggy, and also stars Gonzo, Fozzie Bear, Animal and a host of other iconic characters. The show’s zany skits, hilarious gags, and upbeat musical numbers make it a true family favorite, slyly clever enough for the discerning adult and silly enough for the child in everyone. Digitally restored and fully re-mastered, The Muppet Show: The Complete Third Season features more of the magical moments that made Henson’s plush puppets a worldwide phenomenon.
