read more about:
kids will be kids.

1) The balls will weigh more than the kids, so make sure they don’t try to run with it, surely it will end in disaster!
2) The really little kids will be very tired by around the 7th frame, but it’s all good cuz they will willingly give up their turn to anyone who wants it!
3) The older kids will have a GRAND time, and ask to play more and more and more!
4) Occasionally, as the adult, you’ll get to play and then you’ll wonder if a strike is really a strike if the rails are up!
5) Kids are really cute when they are bowling, but at some point the task of controlling the whole bunch of them becomes a bit overwhelming, and at that point, it’s a good idea to call it a day!
I actually love bowling, but I haven’t gone a whole lot since I’ve been either pregnant or with a newborn for the past few years, but I think that I am going to make an effort to go because it is a lot of fun!!

And remember the very cool senseo coffee maker? Well, for a chance to get your very own for only $15, you can fill out this survey, only valid in the US though. Good Luck!

around the house.

At some point in the last few months I had to give up drinking coffee, the taste was just becoming too awful to handle, even if admittedly, coffee is my crack!
See, I know that the taste of instant coffee is pretty horrid, but I am not the type of person that would own a traditional coffee maker though, and by “type of person”, I mean that there is no possible way that I would EVER spend 20 minutes trying to figure out how to use those filters!
Let me introduce you to the best coffee maker ever, well, “ever” might be a little strong, but to me at least, it’s just super amazing! It’s a personal coffee maker, and it comes with coffee in little tea-bag looking things, called pods, which are simply placed within the coffee maker, push the button, and “ta-da”, yummy coffee!! And when I say “yummy”, oh my God, it’s really very good, you know, especially for like 1 minute of work!
My problem now is that I am drinking waaaay too much coffee, it’s like my new hobby, you know, “oh, I feel a little stressed… I know, I’ll have some coffee!” Try it! For those of you who are regular coffee drinkers at least, you’ll love it!

the first born.
love.

Isn’t it strange and wonderful how each kid is so amazingly different? I marvel at my kids sometimes, each one has his own specialness, his own strengths, his own weaknesses, and each, my favorite, depending on my mood.
My first born has so much of me in him it’s a bit scary, he has an answer for everything, which he executes with such confidence and “spunk” that it’s hard not to smile, today I asked his brother if he has taken off his boots, and my ‘mini-me’ said “don’t you see 2 pairs of boots there?”, to which I responded, “well, yes, I guess I did”, and he quickly retorted, “then why would you ask him if he took them off, huh??”
I love him to pieces, that kid, he is my rock sometimes, he is the one who comforts me, he is the one who notices if I am upset, he is the one who knows if I need something, he is the one who says “mommy, I love you” just for no reason at all, the one I almost lost, I feel really blessed to be his mom.
Happy Love Thursday
