By your jeans? Ok, maybe not.
Me: How would you define me?
Mousehunter: unbounded
Me: huh?
Mousehunter: you know… “footloose and fancy free”
I don’t know about that, but apparently I am an Extra Special Friendly Person!
After a few months of personal issues which sort of took away my creativity, I think I finally have it back, and I am doing my art journaling again, so hopefully I can update the art journal blog, in case anyone was actually keeping track!

marriage.
It’s not a secret that my husband and I are different, and we really, truly seldom agree on anything, but usually we are able to make it work, however there are times when we do hit road blocks…
For example, a perfect date, (I decided the location should be a beach front) for my husband, would be sunset on the beach, on “chairs”, just enjoying each other’s company, then dinner at a nice restaurant, then you know… back at the room. On the other hand, I think that would bore me out of my mind! I mean, it’s lovely and all, but it’s just not me. I would prefer to walk along the beach, letting my bare feet touch the water, have a lot of banter, laughs and just being generally playful, then a very casual dinner on the beach, and then… let’s just say I don’t mind getting sand in my hair!
I read Mir’s article on marriage today, and I was completely stumped by one particular statement… “I had no idea marriage was supposed to be this much fun”... my husband and I literally looked at each other and said, “marriage can actually be fun?” It’s pretty sad that we get so absorbed with the responsibilities of married life and parenting that we forget that it can actually be fun!
So, friends, what do you think should be our “compromised” perfect date?

I have a serious addition to pjs, seriously! If you’re in Canada, La Senza has them pretty cheap right now, I got this one today, except it’s not flannel (not too fond of flannel), I don’t know why it says that it is?!?
I seriously, seriously love chokas!
Congrats Crunchies winners, and while we’re talking techy, WordPress users please take note of this

always the baby.
My dear sweet baby,
Wow, you’re 2 already, and you still can’t talk! That’s ok though, because although “uhh” and “ahh” can be annoying, I am sure it’s less so that you saying “mommy” a million times for the day, not that I don’t want to hear the word “mommy” come out of your precious little mouth, but, you know, I can wait, however, I am glad that you did learn to walk at least!
I think everyone knows that I would love to have a daughter, but you know what, I love saying that I have 3 boys, it makes me feel all special, so thank you for that.
I will admit that you do have a strong affinity towards your father, but you still are my favorite most times, like when we’re home alone together, cuddled on the couch watching your “shuwss”, or when you follow me around in the kitchen dragging your little taggoo and then we have to exchange some words on the inappropriateness of taggoo being on the kitchen floor, or when I have to take you for a nap and you lay your head right next to mine with a little grin on your face! You know we have our special bond!
You know that you’ll always be the baby, you spoilt little kid, and that your brothers completely adore you, and you them, it’s wonderful to see them take care of you like you were their, ummm, pet or something! I am sure you enjoy being the center of attention, I wonder, do you get that from your mom?
I love you my sweet baby!

1) I completely agree with this:
Turning 30 appears to be linked to a marked increase in talking nonsense, BIZARRE BEHAVIOR, and having conversations with and about yourself
Why is this? Seriously, I would like to know, because I am starting to feel like I don’t even know who I am anymore!
2) Why are my kids always sick?
3) Just so you know, I am talented and can blog as well as hold a 2 year old on my chest!
4) My middle child is sadly destined for a life of being the one that is always left out, even if he is very sick.
5) It’s very difficult to work with sick children, or think clearly, or maybe it’s just because I am 30 now… who knows?!
6) My 3 year old, although toilet trained, decided to wear a diaper for the entire day yesterday because he was sick, and sadly, I didn’t try to discourage him.
7) Is life really complex, or is it just me?
8) My 2 year old willingly gave me many kisses today!! He MUST be really sick!
9) The high point of my day was when I got a delivery of books, Do Unto Otters: A Book About Manners
, I really think that I love kids books more than my kids!! And I also got Cairo
by G. Willow Wilson, who is such a really lovely person, you can get to know a little about her on Nisaa.
10) And finally, I really feel like a sock
