Officially on vacation

I am on 3 weeks vacation, starting tomorrow!!

We are going to be on a very long road trip, and then we will be vacationing at a place that does not have internet access! How will we ever survive?? More importantly, what would the mousehunter do with all this free time?

Don’t worry, the experiement will not stop… I will be doing the “travel edition”, one condensed version at the end of the week (I am assuming there are internet cafes close to the place we are going to be staying). And I will try to update my flickr stream with photos of the kids.

Whilst I am gone, I am turning my forum over to you, my wonderful readers… yes, even you shy ones at the back… what would you like to know about me? Or what would you like to know about Islam, Trinidad, Canada, Web Development, Motherhood, the ‘real’ Mousehunter? Would you like my input on any webby/techie/blog-type issues?

I am going to moderate comments, so, if you do not want me to make it public, just say.

Love Thursday & the ada's

Did I ever mention that I have 4 sisters? I do. I live with only 2 though, the other 2 belongs with my dad and I will talk about them another time, today I have to talk about the 2 that I live with.

This is us about 11 years ago. You’ll have to guess which one is me, but I am the eldest, and the fattest. We don’t look like this, or live together anymore, but we are all still close.

My first son would call them ‘ada’, it was the cutest thing ever! They loved it and were sad when he started saying “aunty” correctly.

My sister that is just 1 year younger than me is like a second mother to my kids, she loves them more than anyone else I think! The baby gets so excited when he just hears her voice!

My other sister is 5 years younger, and is actually the inspiration for this post. She just graduated from university and is currently pondering her next move, so I am taking advantage of that and I invite her over almost every day! She does come over a couple days for the week and her help is invaluable. With everything that has been happening over these past weeks, I would have likely crumbled to pieces without her help!

And I have to make a confession; she helped me to prepare this, this, and this.

So, I am publicly saying thanks to her for all her help recently, and to them both for their endless support since the day I found out I was pregnant for the first time!!!
